Franklin, TN – The auto culture is rolling into middle Tennessee with the opening of Miles, an upscale center for cleaning, accessorizing, customizing and celebrating automobiles. MILES will unveil its premier location in the heart of Cool Springs in fall, 2006.

MILES, operated by MILES Cars, LLC received approval from the Franklin Planning Commission to build a 10,000 square foot location at 100 Market Exchange Court at Bakers Bridge Avenue. Designed by Tuck Hinton Architects as the first auto-spa of its kind, MILES is a $3 million private venture scheduled to begin construction on April 1, 2006.

"This is business for people who love their cars and the experience of driving them," said Miles Johnson, president of Miles. “We will provide a complete and enjoyable cleaning and customization auto-spa for customers seeking a full range of services – from an affordable high quality car wash to immaculate detailing, and exclusive car and garage accessories.

MILES will feature three distinctive services:

  • An automated three-lane car wash with interior and exterior detailing options and a waiting room equipped with a coffee bar, gourmet snack bar, fireplace and flat screen televisions.
  • An exclusive shop with custom wheels, tires, performance exhaust, suspension and other enhancement accessories for high-end automobiles as well as unique, one of a kind gifts, cards and lifestyle products for all drivers.
  • Limited-edition garage organization components and themed accessories.

"At MILES, first and foremost, we appreciate that the driving experience is personal and we want every aspect of it to be highly enjoyable," added Johnson. "In addition to offering expert car cleaning, MILES will cultivate an atmosphere where our customers can customize their cars, learn about performance and talk with others who seek the ultimate driving experience. We are delighted to present MILES to middle Tennessee and look forward to presenting a unique enterprise to the region."
